Charity Screening

In November 2023 we held another charity screening, this time to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer's Research UK.

Our amazing community donated a whopping £361 - thank you everyone! Circle Cinema are matching these donations (minus the film screening licence fee) to give an overall total of £620. A big thank you goes to the Moor Pool Heritage Trust who let us hire the hall for free, boosting our overall donation by £100.

Film Festival Success!

Circle Cinema's inaugural film festival was a resounding success. The festival was opened by special guests Ziauddin and Toor Pekai, the parents of Malala Yousafzai. Thanks to the BFI and Saville Audio Visual, we really did bring the big screen experience to Moor Pool!

Read Saville's article about it here: Big Screen Win for Circle Cinema.

See some photos from the event in our Gallery.
